Day 1 | June 5th: Depart to Jordan

 

Day 2 | June 6th: Arrive in Amman

Welcome Dinner. Check in to Movenpick hotel.

Day 3 | June 7th: Jordan Adventure Begins at the Dead Sea, Mt. Nebo & South to Petra

The morning will be spent exploring the Dead Sea. Drive to Mt. Nebo, where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before his death. Leave northern Jordan as we travel to Petra in the south. This evening we will experience the ancient Nabataean ruins of Petra at night, a breathtaking event.

Day 4 | June 8th: Petra & the Red Sea 

Explore Petra during the day to truly appreciate it’s scale. Marvel at the Treasury, Monastery, and Ancient Nabatean dwellings. We will travel to Aqaba and spend the rest of the day at the hotel on the Red Sea.

Day 5 | June 9th: Depart Jordan for Southern Israel & Galilee Region

Relax at the hotel in the morning after two full days in Jordan. Depart early afternoon to Ein Gedi, the location where David hid from Saul. Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. View the ancient fortress of Masada. Drive through the lowest point on earth and get a great vantage point of the Dead Sea. Stop at the overlook for Jericho to view the Mount of Temptation. As we drive to Galilee, we will point out Kursi, the place where Jesus healed a man possess by demons (Mark 5:1-20). Before arriving at the hotel, we will take in the Jordan river up close, where you will have the option to be baptized.

Day 6 | June 10th:  Sea of Galilee

Visit Nazareth, where Jesus grew up and the place that rejected him as a Savior. Here we will get our first glimpse of Jezreel Valley on top of Mt. Precipice. Jezreel Valley is considered the “Ultimate Battlefield” as all the armies of the world will gather for the final battle of Armageddon. Reflect on the battle with Elijah and the prophets of Baal on top of Mt. Carmel. Explore Cana Church which commemorates Jesus’ first miracle. Beginning early afternoon we will visit the overlook of the Sea of Galilee at Mt. Arbel, and Mt. of Beatitudes. This evening we will sail on Galilee in historically accurate boats as we enjoy the Sea at sunset with the best local wines and hors d’oeuvres.

Day 7 | June 11th: Experiencing Jesus at the Sea of Galilee

Today we visit Capernaum in the morning, then we spend time at Peter’s Primacy. We will then explore the ruins of Bethsaida where Jesus cursed the entire town for disbelief. Afterwards we visit several other sites including: Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, and Mt. Hermon. We finish the day at Mt. Bental and receive updates from our National workers in Syria.

Day 8 | June 12th: Ancient Samaria/Today’s West Bank

Explore the West Bank and the ancient Canaanite city of Beit She’an. We will then visit Shiloh, the location of the Tabernacle for 369 years. Mount Ebal/Gerizim are two mountains in the city of Nablus. In Deuteronomy, the Israelites celebrate ceremonies of blessings on Mt. Gerizim and cursing on nearby Mt. Ebal. Late lunch overlooks Jerusalem. Friends of Zion Museum, exclusive Rabbi tunnel experience. Evening visit to Western Wall.

Day 9 | June 13th: Explore God’s Chosen City – Jerusalem

We begin our morning at the shepherds field outside of Bethlehem. After overlooking Bethlehem, we visit the Mt. of Olives. Walking the Palm Sunday route into the old city of Jerusalem we will stop at the Pool of Bethesda, Dominus Flevit, the Via Dolorosa, the church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Garden of Gethsemane (private garden). We will participate in an exclusive dig in the City of David. After the dig we will make our way deep underground to Hezekiah’s Tunnel.

Day 10 | June 14th: Jerusalem to the City of David

Start the day at the Temple Mount and prayer walk the site near the Dome of the Rock. Reflect where Jesus taught at the Southern Steps. Visit the Upper Room and spend time at the Garden Tomb a traditional site marking the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. After this we will have free time in the old city.

Day 11 | June 15th: Explore Mediterranean Coast – Fly Home

Depart Jerusalem to Caesarea where the book of Acts comes alive as we tour Roman headquarters in Israel during the 1st century. Peter, Philip, and Paul spread the Word of God here. We will visit Jaffa Port, and have free time in Tel Aviv. Finally we will have a farewell dinner.

Day 12 | June 16th: Arrive Home 

Arrive home from Israel.

Is Israel safe?

Israel is regarded as one of the safest countries in the world. Annually, the city of Chicago has more violent crimes than the entire country of Israel. 

The safety of our travelers is of the highest priority to Uncharted Adventures and our partners. If for any reason safety is threatened by any factors the owners/operators reserve the right to make whatever changes deemed necessary for the safety of the team. This could include changing lodging or avoiding areas at short notice. 

COVID-19 Policy

Currently in Israel there are special entry procedures required for tourists regardless of Country of Origin due to COVID-19. 

Effective 11/01/2021

All vaccinated (foreign) travelers will be allowed to enter Israel, provided that they meet all the requirements below:  

    • They did not stay in any red destinations in the 14 days before their arrival in Israel.
    • They are vaccinated with a WHO-approved vaccine or recovered, according to the terms and conditions detailed below.  
    • There is no other hindrance on their entry to Israel.
    • They entered Israel through Ben Gurion International Airport.  

Foreign travelers who do not meet all the requirements above shall not be allowed to enter Israel using this scheme, not even under full isolation conditions (The Exceptions Committee shall continue to review the requests by this population). 

The approved vaccines for this mandate:

Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson – Janssen, and AstraZeneca

The second phase of the outline which is expected to be issued by Nov 9th will detail the procedures and guidelines for the category of tourists with non-valid vaccination protocol, i.e more than 180 days have passed since date of last vaccination at the time of their departure from Israel.

 

Trip Cancellation

In the event that I choose to cancel my reservation, or it is cancelled due to reasons outside the control of Uncharted Adventures (including, but not limited to, political turmoil, natural disasters, acts of God, pandemic or epidemics), I will be responsible for any non-refundable expenses incurred for me or on my behalf (including, but not limited to, airfare, airline cancellation fees, deposits, lodging etc.) Uncharted Adventures will strive to refund everything possible if the expedition is cancelled for reasons outside of our control.

Cancellation Fees and Refunds

If you choose to cancel your reservation, cancellation fees will be determined according to the following schedule: 

  • 181 days or more prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is $150 per person, plus any air costs or administrative fees incurred from airline, transportation agency or hotel. 
  • 91-180 days prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is 50 percent of trip cost plus any air costs or administrative fees incurred from airline, transportation agency or hotel. 
  • 90 days and less prior to departure date, the entire price of the trip becomes nonrefundable.
    Additionally, all cancellations received after Uncharted Adventures has booked rooms and/or local travel will incur a $175 administrative fee per person. Any refunds will be processed in accordance with the hotel/resort, ground operators, etc. refund policies. 

Passport Requirements

All participants must have a valid passport that will expire no sooner than six months past their scheduled date of return. You must always carry your passport on your person. Be aware, if you are traveling with us to Israel customs may take longer if your passport contains stamps from Muslim majority countries. Due to Covid-19, be aware that some countries may require proof of negative Covid test two days prior to scheduled departure.

Pay 100% now. Please select quantity depending on number of participants in your party.

Option 2: Pay 50/50
Pay 50% now. Please select quantity depending on number of participants in your party. The balance will be billed 90 days before trip.

Option 3: Payment Plans
Pay $400 deposit per person at sign-up. The remaining balance will be split into two equal payments due 6 months and 3 months prior to departure.

*Price is per person based on double occupancy with final payment by check. We can match solo travelers to roommates if possible. Private rooms are available for an additional $1900.

Passport

Send clear picture or scanned copy of passport to our team. Verify that passport does not expire within 6 months of return date.
