Dr. August Rosado was saved on April 22, 1988, in New Bedford Massachusetts. He developed a love for Bible prophecy studying under the teaching of the late Zola Levitt, the late Dr. Ed Hindson, the late Dr. Jimmy Deyoung, and Dr. Dave Reagan. August is an independent fundamntal Baptist preacher traveling the country speaking at Churches on Jesus soon return. He takes 4-5 trips to Israel a year bringing tour groups and conducting Jewish evangelism.

MAY 19th – DEPART FOR TEL – AVIV, ISRAEL

MAY 20th – TEL – AVIV / NETANYA

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport Tel-Aviv we will be met with VIP service through the airport. Later we pass by the famous Tel Aviv beach promenade and drive to the beautiful Mediterranean city of Netanya. We will then check in to our hotel in Netanya for dinner and overnight.

MAY 21st – CEASAREA / MEGGIDO / NAZARETH / CANA

After breakfast, we leave the hotel for Caesarea, built by Herod the Great and once occupied by Roman rule. Caesarea is also where Pontius Pilate had his base. Here we view the beautifully restored Roman Amphitheater, the ruins of the ancient town, the harbor and the aqueduct. We Continue north to north to Haifa and ascend to the top of Mt. Carmel, also known where Elijah fought the 400 false profits. We will view the botanical Bahai gardens below and the Haifa Bay. Then we proceed to Megiddo, one of Solomon’s chariot cities and the site of the coming Battle of Armageddon. We will then continue to Nazareth, to visit the Church of the Annunciation. A short distance from there we will visit Cana, the site where Jesus turned water into Wine at a wedding ceremony. We will then drive through the Pastoral Hills of the Galilee to our Hotel for dinner and overnight.

MAY 22nd – TIBERIAS / CAPERANUM / TABGHA / JORDAN RIVER

This morning, we cross the Sea of Galilee by boat to Capernaum and visit the ruins of the ancient Synagogue and St. Peter’s house, visit Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given, to Tabgha, site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, then onto the Golan Heights, Mt. Hermon and Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Visit the recently discovered boat from the time when Jesus lived in Galilee. Then we will visit Yardenit where we will have a chance to be baptized.

MAY 23rd – JERASH / MEBO / MADABA / AMMAN

We depart after breakfast for Sheik Hussein Bridge and cross into Jordan and explore the magnificent ruins of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco Roman cities. Visit its theaters, temple, and colonnaded streets. From here we proceed to Madaba, home to a beautiful sixth-century mosaic. Continue to Mt. Nebo and view the “Promised Land” as Moses did. We will then continue on to Amman for dinner and overnight.

MAY 24th – AMMAN / PETRA

We depart Amman for an unforgettable day in Petra. Our guide will take us through the rose-colored canyon known as the Siq to Petra, a city dating back to 300 BC, which was literally cut into the cliff sides. Tour the various Temples, the Amphitheater, the streets of columns and the Treasury, Royal Tombs, and the Court. Dinner and overnight in Aqaba.

Jordan – La Costa Aqaba

MAY 25th – EILAT / MASADA / QUMRAN / JERICHO/JERUSALEM

After enjoying breakfast we cross the border to Israel via Eilat, proceed to Masada and ascend by cable car to the remarkable ruins of this fortress built by Herod the Great, where from 70 to 73 A.D. Jewish Zealots made their last stand against the Romans. After our visit to Masada, we drive to Qumran and view the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We visit Qasr El-Yahod, the location where many believe John the Baptist baptized Jesus. After a short stop at the Dead Sea continue to Jericho, the oldest city on earth. Here, the walls came down in Joshua’s day. One can see Elisha’s Fountain and Mt. Temptation. We continue to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

MAY 26th – JERUSALEM

This morning we get to know “Jerusalem the Golden”. We drive to the Mt. of Olives, where we visit the Chapel of the Ascension and follow the path down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of all Nations. A short drive through the Kidron Valley brings us by way of Absalom’s Pillar and Zechariah’s Tomb. We then proceed around Mt. Zion to the Upper Room, traditional scene of the Last Supper. In the afternoon we visit the fabulous model of Jerusalem, depicting the city at the time of our Lord. Then to Yad Vashem, which was built to honor the 6,000,000 Jews killed during World War II. Continued to Ein Karem the birth place of St. John the Baptist and see the Church of Visitation where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. After and before we return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight we visit Emmaus, where the New Testament reports Jesus appeared before two of his followers after His resurrection.

MAY 27th – JERUSALEM – OLD CITY

After breakfast, we will drive to the old City and enter through the Dung Gate. Our first stop will be the Southern Wall excavations. See the beauty of the ruins and the famous Robinson Arch . We will proceed to the Western Wall through the tunnels called “The Rabbi’s Tunnels” . We will exit along the Christian Quarter to see the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed a lame man.

Jerusalem –  Prima Royale

MAY 28th – JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM

This morning we depart after breakfast for a full day visit of Bethlehem. We will arrive at Manger Square and first visit Shepherd’s Field. After lunch we visit the Church of the Nativity. It is believed by any that this was the site of Jesus’ birthplace. We return to Jerusalem for dinner, free time in Jerusalem and overnight.

Depart home. Note that the flight could leave late on the 28th (around midnight) or early morning on the 29th.

Passport Requirements

Its is very important that your passport does not expire six months before our return date. You will be denied entry into Israel if your passport expires earlier than this date.

If your passport expiration date looks good, please email a copy to info@unchartedadventures.co.

  • Best: Color scan of your passport in .jpg, .png or .pdf format
  • Good Enough: Up-close photo in .jpg or .png format (make sure there is no glare and all info is readable.)
  • Make sure passport is SIGNED and that signature page is included in your scan or photo.

If your passport expires 6 months before we return from our trip, you will need to apply immediately for a passport renewal. Please click here for directions on how to renew your passport. NOTE: Routine renewal processing can take 12 weeks. Expedited (more expensive) is more like a 6 week turnaround.

Be aware, if you are traveling with us to Israel, customs may take longer if your passport contains stamps from Muslim-majority countries.

Flights

This trip includes airfare up to $1000 dollars. If flight cost exceeds $1000 you will be invoiced directly two months before departure. If you choose to book your flights deduct $1000 from the total trip cost. Please note that you may encounter a longer wait time at the airport and/or be responsible for paying the additional transportation costs of private transportation to/from the airport. (i.e. a private car service will cost $150-$200 USD in most cases.) If your arrival and departure dates are different from what is below, you will also be responsible for paying for additional hotel nights.

Solo Travelers

We welcome solo travelers on all our trips! However, the advertised trip cost reflects a cost per person that assumes the person will share a room with another traveler (“double occupancy.”) We will do our best to pair you with another solo traveler (of the same gender) that also desires a roommate. It has worked out well for many people on our trips. If, however, we are unable to assign a roommate, you should anticipate that 1-2 months before trip departure, you will receive an additional invoice of $812 USD from Uncharted Adventures to cover to costs of having a private room (“single supplement”) at all hotels during the trip. 

Weather

The average daily high temperature during the month of  May is around 66 – 77 degrees (F), with evening temps around 55 degrees (F).

Trip Cancellations 

In the event that you choose to cancel you reservation, or it is cancelled due to reasons outside the control of Uncharted Adventures (including, but not limited to, political turmoil, natural disasters, acts of God, pandemic or epidemics), you will be responsible for any non-refundable expenses incurred by you or on your behalf (including, but not limited to, airfare, airline cancellation fees, deposits, lodging etc.) Uncharted Adventures will strive to refund everything possible if the expedition is cancelled for reasons outside of our control. We strongly recommend cancellation trip insurance to help protect you in the unfortunate event you would need to cancel your trip.

Cancellation Fees and Refunds

If you choose to cancel your reservation, cancellation fees will be determined according to the following schedule: 

  • 181 days or more prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is the trip deposit amount $400 USD, plus any other costs or administrative fees incurred from transportation agency or hotel. 
  • 91-180 days prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is 50 percent of trip cost plus any air costs or administrative fees incurred from transportation agency or hotel. 
  • 90 days and less prior to departure date, the entire price of the trip becomes nonrefundable.

Additionally, all cancellations received after Uncharted Adventures has booked rooms and/or local travel will incur a $175 USD administrative fee per person. Any refunds will be processed in accordance with the hotel/resort, ground operators, etc. refund policies.

Is Israel safe?

Israel is regarded as one of the safest countries in the world. Annually, the city of Chicago has more violent crimes than the entire country of Israel. 

The safety of our travelers is of the highest priority to Uncharted Adventures and our partners. If for any reason safety is threatened by any factors the owners/operators reserve the right to make whatever changes deemed necessary for the safety of the team. This could include changing lodging or avoiding areas at short notice. 

Passport Requirements

All participants must have a valid passport that will expire no sooner than six months past their scheduled date of return. You must always carry your passport on your person. Be aware, if you are traveling with us to Israel customs may take longer if your passport contains stamps from Muslim majority countries.

Pay 100% now. 

Option 2: Pay 50/50
Pay 50% now. The balance will be billed 90 days before trip departure.

Option 3: Payment Plans
Pay $1,200 USD deposit per person at sign-up. This will secure your spot on the trip as well as your flight (overage will be invoiced before departure.) The remaining balance will be due 3 months prior to departure.

Pricing Information

*Price per person is based on double occupancy (two people sharing a hotel room), paying by check. Private rooms are an additional $812.  Solo travelers will have the option to pick “Single Occupancy, With Roommate” or “Single Occupancy, Private Room.” We will do our best to assign a roommate to solo travelers if that is their preference. In the event we are unable to assign someone a roommate, an additional charge of $812 USD per person will be assessed approximately two months before departure.
